Week 10 – Playing with Type

This week I have noticed that I haven't actually had a chance at playing around with the Type tutorial and had a go at messing around with the other libraries.

The next code is mapping the text creating a different kind of piece of art. In this one particular I used 'Massey University' as the text. I like how easily it is to achieve something interesting looking and in a way unrecognisable to the initial concept. I have mainly played around with changing the colours, number of points generated and the variations of patterns through pressing the space bar.

The following code using the Geomerative library (same as the above example). Again I played around with the most obvious number of points generated, max distance, colours, size and position of text. I like this one as it is similar to the nodes and lines code using the iGeo library.

Here I have photoshopped two  of the codes, the one above and the 'Dots' one together as I couldn't figure out how to join them together into one process. This could be as it is using 'two different libraries' but I don't think it should be a problem. Will need to dig deeper into it. I have printed this out on tracing paper.
