Assignment 2 – Code that Creates – Week 7

Im interested in looking at 'Print' through code and the possibility of using digital fabrication to achieve a final output, such as using acrylic or plywood instead of regular paper.

Generative Design
is a design method in which the output has been generated through a set of values/ rules and algorithms. This method is mostly based on parametric modelling.

Parametric Design
is a process based on algorithmic thinking and the use of variables to generate geometric relations that allow you to generate a certain design but explore further possibilities.

Data Visualisation
is a process that goes through a set of data and generates a representation responding to that data.

Digital Fabrication
is a process that integrates design and construction through 3D modelling softwares. In the first semester I explored the process of digital fabrication using the FabLab WGTN in the elective paper 'Digital Fabrication'.
