In Processing you start from scratch and have to set up your sketch, not like in three.js playGnd where you just have to select the functions you want to draw from a drop down menu.
Image 1: setup - runs once, draw - runs repeatedly
Image 2: starting with multiple basic squares at different positions with the same fill with some transparency.
Image 3: same functions with different variables, mouseX and mouseY are deciding the positions and fill of the functions depending on the position of the mouse in the sketch.
Image 4: it doesn't matter how many rectangles in the draw function are as they technically are all doing the same thing.
